Unto You Is Born a Savior

“Unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.”

— Luke 2:11

What better statement could ever be made?
What greater news could ever be announced?

A Savior has been born.

Thank God for Jesus.
Thank God for truth.
Thank God for the free gift of grace given on that very first Christmas morning.

More Than a Baby in a Manger

We celebrate Christmas because Jesus came. But the story does not stop at His birth.

Jesus came.
Jesus lived.
Jesus died on a cross.

He bore our sin. He paid our debt. And then—He rose again.

He conquered death, hell, and the grave.

Born to Die—So We Could Live

Jesus did not come merely to be admired in a manger. He came with a mission. Born to die upon Calvary. Born to atone for our sin.

On the cross, Jesus paid it all.
We don’t have to pay for our own sin debt.
We don’t have to face eternity without hope.

Because Jesus died for us.

Today, He is risen. He has ascended to the right hand of the Father, where He ever lives to make intercession for the saints of God. And because of that, we have hope—real, living, eternal hope.

Why Christmas Truly Matters

Christmas is wonderful not just because of traditions, gifts, or time with family—though those are blessings. Christmas is wonderful because it reminds us of this truth:

We don’t have to die and go to hell.
We don’t have to carry our sin alone.

A Savior was given to sinners.

Jesus became flesh—for you and for me.

A Simple Encouragement Today

Enjoy your time with your family today. Rejoice. Celebrate. Give thanks.

But above all—celebrate Christ.

Make Him the center.
Make Him the reason.
Make Him the joy of this day.

Thank God for Christmas.

He was born not just to be admired in a manger, but to die upon a cross and rise again so we could live.
