“Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God.” Psalm 42:11
Maybe you’ve been looking around. You’ve searched every option you know. You’ve tried different resources, explored different avenues, leaned on everything that seemed accessible — and none of it has turned the situation around. Now it feels like the only honest conclusion is this: there’s no hope.
But let me encourage you — don’t give up on hope just yet.
Hang on. There is still hope.
And here’s why. We hold in our hands a Book that declares it from beginning to end. From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible makes one thing clear: as long as there is a God in Heaven, there is hope in every situation.
HOPE IS FOUND WHEN JESUS STEPS IN
Consider the Gospels alone.
There was a man living in darkness — wrapped in chains that could not bind him. He screamed through the night, dwelled among tombs, and terrified everyone around him. His condition looked hopeless.
But then Jesus stepped onto the shore of his life.
And the maniac of Gadera was sitting, clothed, and in his right mind. Hope walked in.
HOPE REMAINS WHEN HUMAN HELP RUNS OUT
There was a woman with an issue in her body for over twelve years. No doctor could heal her. No physician could help her. No amount of money could change her condition.
Her situation had an expiration date stamped on it by humanity — no hope.
But then Jesus passed by.
She touched the hem of His garment, and immediately virtue flowed. Hope touched her back.
HOPE EXISTS EVEN WHEN IT FEELS TOO LATE
There was a grave with a body in it. Four days had passed. Two sisters were grieving, convinced corruption had already set in. To them, the moment for hope had long expired.
But then Jesus stood outside the tomb and spoke.
And Lazarus came forth.
When hope seemed buried, hope called his name.
DON’T SURRENDER HOPE BEFORE GOD IS FINISHED
If Jesus can restore a man no one could control…
heal a woman no one could cure…
and raise a man everyone had given up on…
then your situation is not beyond hope.
As long as God is still God, hope is still alive.
